I'm thinking about joining the Navy. How could I become an NCIS Agent? I think I need college. Do you have to be an officer to be an NCIS Agent?

As far as I know, the NCIS is only hiring civilians to become agents now. You do need a four year degree.

That's correct, active duty Navy could become NCIS Agents, but not anymore. Serving in the military, especially the Navy, can improve your chances of becoming an NCIS Agent though.
