Anyone have any information on the current Harris County (TX) Sheriff's Office application situation. I received a letter stating that "due to an influx of applications it was taking some time to sort them, but you will be contacted soon".

Has anyone heard when they plan on starting the next academy, or have any other pertinent information?

I would like to use this thread as a place for anyone applying in Harris County to communicate with each other regarding the process.

Me: Senior at Sam Houston State University (graduating in December), BS in CJ. USN Master-At-Arms (2000-2006).
