well the incident was about 4 years ago i dont plan on applying till next year or the year after

Your traffic tickets would likely not be a problem. The theft could definitely be a probelm. How much it affects your being hired probably depends on the department and how long ago the incident occurred. The more time that passes from the incident, the better your chances will probably get. A good work history and good credit is very important.

I want to be a cop badly, i have a theft 3rd degree not a felony, and i only have 3 traffic tickets all are improper registration, and i also have solid work history, and solid credit score am i hireable?
